The author, a research scientist at the University of New Mexico Medical Center, represents in this book several stories. InI began the first new human research with psychedelic, or hallucinogenic, drugs in the United States in over 20 years. Is it a tool? One part of the brain could easily be triggered by a psychedelic drug that another part views and thinks, I couldn’t possibly have created that.

Strassman’s scientific and spiritual reasoning throughout this book absolutely blew my mind. Is DMT a drug?

It feels like there are thousands and thousands of separate parts of me and this drug brings them all together. It is a big book, but so is the topic. It feels very complete.
