If you connect your to hypoterminal, do you see the dtrr that your transmits? That surely suggests that there must be something wrong with your hardware! It is possible that the PC’s COM port is more tolerant of baud rate errors than the Nokia – are you sure that your ‘s baud rate is really correct?
